Thanks to everyone in our Facebook Group we have fixed a date and time for the next session and selected the songs for the workshop.
This session will be a slightly new format for JamSocial. The afternoon will be hosted by Zoe Konez and Will Connor and the focus is on the band as a whole rather than individual instruments.
We’re at a new venue for JamSocial – The Finsbury in Manor House. This is an excellent live music venue which has been refurbished over the New Year with a state-of-the-art PA system and a new stage.
We’ve worked out special versions of the songs to use as a starting point for the workshop and jam sessions. The focus for the workshop is on making the band work as a whole, it’s not really about “learning” the songs strictly. You’ll receive your workshop pack by email if you register to take part. You’ll need to spend a little bit of time to look over the material in advance of the session to become familiar with it – but don’t worry it’s not too complicated!

Please send us a message with your name and instrument to register interest in taking part. It’s first-come-first-served! Please get in there quickly as this is likely to be oversubscribed.
There are 12 participant places available at this JamSocial. It is going to be the most intimate event yet – with lots of individual attention. These places are £20 each.
If you want to come along to socialise and learn from watching the workshop (but not play on stage) then we’ve got a limited number of “audience” tickets available for £5. To make the event a success we need to limit the number of performers on stage during the workshop to ensure everyone gets a fair chance to play.
The performers spaces are first-come-first-served. If we are oversubscribed beyond the 12 performers, then you’ll be offered an “audience” ticket which means you’ll be involved in the workshop as far as is reasonably possible but we can’t guarantee you’ll get to go on-stage. However, if someone drops out or doesn’t turn up on the day you’ll have first priority to take their space.
